Ondjumba ya Nambala palace and Camp site

We tried to avoid large tourist lodges, so Rauna was spot on. We shared a lovely dinner with a handful of other guests, had good talks about Namibia, its problems and progress. Thank you.

“Excellent”

The location right next to the Gates of Nahele park let us see a lot of animals in great numbers; the host and the rest of the staff were very kind and went out of their way for us. The evening meal was excellent and very hearty. A place worth discovering.

The spot near the King Nahele Gate was great, letting us head to Etosha Park relaxed in the morning. The accommodation had everything we needed. We cooked ourselves, but there was a place to eat there. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We felt very comfortable. It can get very hot during the day, but the AC helped a lot. The pool was closed at our time.

After the gate opened by two smiling young boys, a kind hostess welcomed us. The lodging is spacious (2 rooms, 2 bathrooms). We enjoyed the generous dinner and breakfast served with a lot of conviviality, in a somewhat remote but very pleasant corner. We can only recommend staying here when visiting this part of Namibia. The only downside was the bathrooms, which could use some improvements.
