The Hotel Miramare is situated 80 metres from Maiori's tree-lined seafront and 500 metres from the harbour. It offers a sun terrace with free parasols and sun beds. Guests enjoy discounted rates at nearby Moorea Beach. The hotel provides air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms, self-service breakfast, and is close to the bus station serving the Amalfi Coast.

The location near the sea and all the services was good. However, the room had defects: the bathroom drain clogged, no hand soap, broken tiles in the shower, and the air conditioner leaked water. I think routine maintenance is needed.

Marta was a fantastic employee—always upbeat and ready to help—and Italo was equally attentive and helpful, making the staff experience wonderful. Unfortunately, the minibar in my room and my father‑in‑law’s room malfunctioned; a technician fixed only the latter, leaving mine still dead, and the room suffered from mold, dated furniture, rusty bars and very poor cleaning, with the toilet bowl never wiped. We had to request extra toilet paper and soap because they weren’t restocked, and we even asked staff to clean the bathtub. My father‑in‑law’s bathroom lacked a shower enclosure despite the listing showing one. Moreover, the hotel shares the building with a residence that seems like a B&B, yet there are no signs indicating which areas are public, and when we tried to use a balcony on the third floor overlooking the beach we were curtly told we couldn’t, which was embarrassing.
