The place was clean, had basic amenities, and the owner was approachable, kind, and generous. He let us rent his motorbike and even gave us tips and ideas on what to see and where to go. This spot is perfect for a DIY itinerary with scenic views and roads along the way. It’s about 30‑40 minutes from Oslob (whale‑shark watching & Tumalog Falls), 1.5‑2 hours to Badian for canyoneering or Moal‑boal, 30 minutes to the Osmeña Peak tourist center, and 30 minutes to the Sea of Clouds. We enjoyed our time and stay in Alcoy. The only downside was the air‑con during the day.
