The spot was fantastic, just a stone’s throw from Cretya, Tis Cafe, and the rice terraces. Ants would climb up from the floorboards, so don’t leave sweet food out.

It’s quiet, offers great value, and is well‑located if you want to stay a little away from the bustle. A nice little restaurant is within walking distance. I was a bit disappointed that there was no breakfast available; it wasn’t even listed as an option. The only walkable restaurant doesn’t serve breakfast, so I had to drive to get one, which would have been an issue if I didn’t have my own car. This is a minor gripe and doesn’t change my 10‑point rating.
The place was super quiet, right near everything in Tegalalang—easy walking or driving to activities—and the hosts were incredibly helpful and overall great. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a stay in Tegalalang or close to Ubud; it’s definitely worth the price!

The water supply was low and not warm, the refrigerator was too hot, the indoor lighting was dim, there was no safe, no food service on site, and the staff’s smiles made up for those shortcomings.
