The bed was solid and the shower worked like a charm – I actually looked forward to using it each morning. Everything else was fine, so there wasn’t much to complain about. Overall a comfortable, no‑frills stay.

The hotel sits right in the middle of everything, which made getting around a breeze. Unfortunately the room we got had windows that wouldn’t close and the blinds that simply wouldn’t lower, which was a bit annoying at night. Aside from that, the location more than made up for the inconvenience.

The room itself was clean and surprisingly spacious, which I appreciated after a long day of travel. I missed the fact that the bathroom was shared – the listing mentioned it, but the photos made it look like it was attached to the room, so we were caught off guard. Still, the space was nice once we got used to the shared facilities.

The accommodation was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the huge shared bathroom with its gold taps was a nice touch; checking in online via the lockbox was smooth, and there was safe bike storage right by the Vennbahn bike route. It felt pretty basic, though – no hand soap, only two mugs and tea bags, and no coffee, which made it feel less welcoming for a short stay. Still, if you’re just looking for a clean place to crash, it does the job.

The place was really calm – you could hear nothing but the occasional street hum, which was perfect for unwinding after a busy day. No real downsides to note.
