We were welcomed warmly by the hosts at Maneesha Guesthouse, who looked after us from the moment we arrived until we reluctantly left. A balcony, fridge, kettle, cinnamon tea, and fresh banana juice were available, and the room and bathroom were spotless with a fan and mosquito net. There was nothing to dislike.

We stayed two nights at this homestay and everything was perfect. The hosts were extremely kind, accommodating, and attentive to our needs. The room and bathroom were clean, and the place is just a 5‑minute scooter ride from the center and the beach. We recommend it and thank you for the stay.

The hosts were very friendly and we felt at home. The house’s rural setting made for wonderful nature: lots of greenery, a beautiful morning bird concert, and relaxed peace. During the day, a nearby construction site caused some noise and disturbance, but since we were out, it didn’t bother us. Walking from the Maneesha Guest House takes about thirty minutes to the beach. We enjoyed the walk: nature, wild peacocks in the meadow, and a nice bakery at a crossroads, giving us a glimpse of Sri Lanka beyond the tourist view. Everything was to our complete satisfaction.
