“Super quaint and great location!”

The whole city feels quaint and this inn blends right in; it’s tidy and pretty, and the main strip of shops and restaurants is within walking distance. We enjoyed walking to everything we needed for our one‑night stay. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the room was a nice size—not tiny or cramped. The breakfast wasn’t great: scrambled eggs were typical of a free breakfast, so okay; the bacon was good, the sausage was tough and not tasty, the hash browns were gone, and when replaced they were cold. They have sour cream and onions mixed in with cheese on top. Biscuits were okay, and the gravy was tasty. They offered English muffins, tiny blueberry muffins (the only item that wasn’t disappointing), French toast, and bread for toast. There was also a little waffle maker; the waffles were good. The decaf was empty but refilled not too long after. There were bananas, oranges, cottage cheese, and some kind of cut fruit that I didn’t find appealing, so I don’t remember what it was. Coffee, tea, juices, and water were available. The dining area was super clean. It seemed that only one lady was working. I saw someone else come in but she might have been about to start a shift because she wasn’t working.

“A perfect spot for the Shakespeare festival”

Large, comfortable rooms, great location close to downtown, and there is some parking, although you may need to be lucky.
