Having a nearby convenience store with the cheapest gas service was a real lifesaver! On the downside, the gas stations were back‑to‑back, so we heard a bit of noise, and the other building faced the fields, which was better.

The accommodation was simple but had everything needed, from samples to laundry service, and a voucher for a frozen meal was given at check‑in (the microwave is in the room). If you need anything else, a 7‑Eleven is literally next door, so even though it’s not in town, it’s a great stop along the road. I also needed help booking a ferry, and the staff were very kind in assisting me, though their English was quite limited, which could use improvement in a hotel chain.
