“very nice accommodation, ensure your on with walking (700m). If mobility is limited avoid”
It’s fine if you’re okay with walking, about 700 m from the main markets, but there are steep stairs into the accommodation and again into the family suite, so avoid it if you have mobility issues. Driving is slow, and the one‑way road makes taxi trips costly and lengthy.
The room was spotless and roomy, and the owner was very kind and helpful; the place is right next to the center, and we had a great time.
“Un maravilloso Homestay”
The facilities looked new and everything worked flawlessly. We booked two rooms, a double for us and another double for our kids, and it seemed like we were the only guests—maybe we were, haha. Mangku was always attentive and served us breakfast with juicy, delicious fruit dishes. This family compound is about 5 minutes from the art market and 10 minutes from the Ubud central crossing, all on foot.
