“The stay had its moments, but concerns about safety & maintenance left a lasting impression”

The location of this hotel can't be beat - it's right in the heart of town, and the views aren't bad either. But that's where the good stuff ends. The hotel's got some serious issues, like the reservation team pushing some dodgy policies, and the customer service is pretty lacking. The poolside furniture's in a bad state, and there's some safety concerns in the area too. Overall, it feels like the hotel's relying on its name rather than actually delivering a good experience.

“did not meet expectations”

The shower was a letdown - no hot water at all. The facilities feel like they could use a serious update, and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been renovated in ages.

“In general was not bad”

The pool's a highlight - it's pretty good. And my room was clean, which was a plus. However, the front desk and security didn't exactly make me feel welcome, and it seemed like they didn't treat everyone equally.

This place has a great location and top-notch service, with security to boot - I highly recommend it. My only complaint is that there was no air conditioning, which made it tough to relax. Still, it's worth considering if you're in the area.

This hotel is perched on a hill with a stunning view of Gondar - it's a real treat. The service was top-notch and the staff were super friendly, no issues at all. Watching the sunrise from the area near the pool was amazing.
