“great stay”

The rooms and bathrooms are very big and comfy, the continental breakfast is excellent, and the location is great—close to downtown and the main street. It’s a little outdated, and for breakfast I’d suggest offering separate packages for items like yogurt instead of a big bowl.

I found the room spotless, the spot in the city is great, and the breakfast area is nice. The bathroom just got a facelift, and the mirrors even have a TV in them! The tub is a bit high, making it tricky to get in and out, which could be dangerous.

“Disappointing”

The beach spot is pretty nice. The common areas feel old and worn, especially the main lounge which looks dirty. The staff barely said a word, seemed indifferent, and for $499 a night it’s nowhere near up to par.

“Beautiful views and great location.”

The location is perfect for exploring, and the bay view is gorgeous at sunrise and sunset. Outside there are comfy chairs by the pool and beach. The property itself is well kept on the exterior. Breakfast is decent but doesn’t change daily. The room is clean, spacious enough for suitcases and sitting, and the balcony lets you hear the water at night. The door is hard to open and close. The whole property could use fresh paint, especially the common areas. The bedroom linen feels thin and a bit old. We wanted paddle boards, thought they were available, but nobody was at the shed where they were stored. The coffee bar is low quality, uses paper cups, and offers too little cream. We paid a hefty price for two weekend nights and expected more for the cost.

“Nice but overpriced”

The property didn’t meet our expectations, especially given the price. The room had very few amenities for a high cost.
