The location was quiet, yet the room was dark with worn, old furniture. Cleanliness was terrible—dust everywhere and spider webs by a window. The bathroom was horrible: toothpaste on the mirrors, grime around the sink, the toilet smelled bad and looked unclean, and the toilet brush was disgusting. The tap barely produced water and was patched with tape. Breakfast consisted of bread, mini croissants, butter, two small jam jars, honey with a fly, and yogurt. The highlight was a €250 credit card hold for a deposit that seemed unnecessary—there was nothing to buy. At checkout, the receptionist entered the room to check everything, which was impossible because one of the old chairs would never be taken. It took seven days to lift the hold. Overall, overpriced, unkempt, neglected, and dirty accommodation—never again!

The setting is beautiful and unique, but comfort is somewhat basic. There is no air conditioning, which was a problem during the heatwave despite a small fan.

The idyllic manor is calm and good for a relaxing getaway. It isn’t soundproof, so you can hear neighbors talking. Breakfast didn’t match the place: supermarket bread, reheated crepes, and pastries.
