The spot was well‑situated and the facilities were decent, but the room I stayed in felt swelteringly hot and the ventilation was weak; I’d suggest adding a turbo‑fan to the wall or using the air‑conditioning even if it costs a bit more. The room was super hot, and a small fan didn’t do much – that needs improvement.

The hostel’s location was great for the local crowd because it was close by. It’s also near supermarkets and bakeries. The idea of a hostel in an old manor is good, but it needs improvement. The room had no air conditioning; the mattresses were uncomfortable; the wooden bunk beds were fragile; the hostel’s cleanliness was poor—I found a big lump in the bathroom and the drains were always full of hair. There were many volunteers, but they seemed to be only at the reception. The fridge was always disorganized and the sink was always full of dirty dishes.

I found the place calm and nicely located, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The only downside was the room I stayed in felt a bit stuffy, especially when it was hot, but the cleanliness, tidy layout, fresh linens, and good bed made up for it; it was just the heat that bothered me.
