“Not necessarily desirable, but acceptable.”
The common areas were nice, stocked with interesting books and a tourist pamphlet. However, the blankets and carpet were stained, the interior felt muggy and dingy, and there was no airflow even though small fans and a window were available. The shower tile on the floor was cracked, the water pressure was weak, and the bathrooms were tiny but usable. Check‑in was confusing; an app that was supposed to work for the front door also needed to work for the room didn’t, so we could only reach staff by text. Calls went unanswered, but the person who texted was friendly and quick to reply. Once we got a response, we learned there was a storage closet in the hallway with manual keys for the rooms. The city feels sketchy, full of addicts and homeless people. An off‑site parking garage was helpful, though payment was through another app. The car was safe and not on the street. Overall it wasn’t terrible, was fairly cheap, and met my expectations for a low‑cost stay if I’m not looking for a spotless experience.
