“Wonderful, caring staff and a great location let down by inconsistent room upkeep and an undisclosed paid minibar.”
The staff made the trip smoother—everyone was warm, patient, and genuinely helpful, which mattered a lot with a baby. The transfer driver even gave us a car seat without us having to ask again. The property offers a spa, a restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, a beach shuttle we used a lot, and a roomy, modern room with AC and a balcony. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful, with fresh fruit, made‑to‑order omelets, and a rotating fish and meat dinner menu. Housekeeping responded whenever we requested extra cleaning or towels. Getting to the restaurant requires a few steps with no ramp—troublesome with a stroller. Beach umbrellas don’t tilt, so they never fully shade both loungers. Towels are handed out once a day and never replaced, and the beach bar menu lists items (like ice cream) that simply aren’t available. Breakfast runs out quickly if you arrive late. The room needed more care than expected: an iron we requested never arrived, the carpet wasn’t properly cleaned even after we asked, the pillows were flat, the headboard had an odd smell, and humidity kept our stuff damp all week. In the bathroom, the shampoo dispenser was detached, the shower door creaked, and an uneven shower floor caused constant flooding. Worst of all, the minibar was actually paid for—nothing mentioned anywhere—and we were charged at checkout at roughly 2–3× shop prices. The kids’ room was also dirty with worn‑out toys.

When we checked in, we were given a room with a sea view at no extra cost. A full plate of pastries awaited us in the room. The beach towels you receive every day are great, and the beach shuttle is available even though the beach is very close. The pools are clean. The cosmetics in the room are high quality, as are the beach towels and bedding. Breakfast and dinner are varied, with plenty of fruit, vegetables, and fish. It would be wonderful if the restaurant were on an upper floor instead of the -1 so guests could enjoy a sea view while dining or drinking.
