The only bright spot was the decor and the staff, but the hotel’s location is a nightmare—right on the road, surrounded by a parking lot, and the highway noise is constant.

The rooms are nicely decorated but far too dark, noisy and have no soundproofing between them. Everything else was terrible: the hotel sits on a very noisy road (Coast Hwy…), the staff were especially unfriendly except for Carlos at reception, the air‑conditioning didn’t work in the first room we were given, and the breakfast—if you can call it that—offered rock‑hard pastries, no water, no espresso and no choice. Considering the room rates, it felt like a rip‑off, yet we stayed because every other hotel nearby was fully booked.
