“Experiência ruim pousada Badejo”
The staff were always very polite, and the lodge’s location was good. However, my experience from 09 to 13/10 at Pousada Badejo in Japaratinga – AL fell far below my expectations, especially regarding structure, organization, cleanliness, and readiness for the holiday crowd. The lodge’s structure is quite old. In the suite bathroom, water didn’t drain properly during a shower and pooled on the floor. One bed had a frame that reminded me of hospital beds, leaving a negative impression. A serious issue occurred in suite 104: the mirror simply fell from the wall. I don’t know how it broke. When it fell, it landed on the bed and hit my daughter’s foot. Thankfully it was only a superficial bruise with no major consequences. From what I saw, the mirror’s base was MDF/MDP and was damp, likely causing it to detach. Breakfast and organization were also problematic. The breakfast itself was reasonable, but the complete lack of organization to serve the number of guests was a major issue. Based on my calculations, between the lodge and the flat building there are about 40 suites. With an average of four people per accommodation, the capacity could reach roughly 160 guests. Yet breakfast is served only in the flat area, which has about 20 tables with four chairs each, or around 80 seats. Imagine more than 100 people trying to have breakfast in a space that can hold about 80. Guests were asking to share tables with other families, people waiting for tables to become free, and lines to get basic items that ran out, like fried eggs and fried bananas. I understand that a holiday means higher traffic, but that’s exactly why planning is necessary.
