The spot’s mountain view was nice, and they even prepared a lunch out of hours. The sky dome was dirty on the glass walls, making it nearly impossible to see stars, and basic services were almost non‑existent—no hot shower, no Wi‑Fi, everything extra‑paid; maybe that’s common in the valley, but at least there should be toilet paper, hand soap, cutlery, and a proper pillow for the bed (not a couch pillow). We got the impression that solo travelers without a tour get a B‑tier treatment: meals were served in pieces and bites after the tour guests, one fork at a time, one glass or any other item you had to ask for. Even at breakfast, when the chef was clearly about to leave, they took our hand‑made coffee cup away. Overall it felt like a campsite, which is fine, but not at this high price, especially compared to the rest of the trail.
