The spot is right in front of the beach, and the family running the place were super friendly. The building feels a little old, but the hospitality and location more than make up for it. You can stroll along the shore, hit up nearby restaurants, and dine right on the beach while music plays. A truly magical experience, and there’s nothing to complain about.

The location on the beach is great and the staff are very friendly. But it’s not worth it. The rooms look dated and need upkeep. We booked 7 nights but left after 2 because the room had a bad smell and the AC was noisy, keeping us awake. Service was poor; we had to chase the waiters for breakfast. We asked to plug holes in the bathroom because bugs were coming in, and they used scotch tape. We paid the full price for 2 nights (about 240 euros) for a place that normally costs 24 euros a night. Absolutely not recommended! Two hotels next door are much cleaner and honest, meeting Sri Lankan standards.

It was very close to the beach ( a lovely quiet, and beautiful part of the beach ) close to some fun shops and good restaurants. So a lovely area to be in, the room was spacious and comfortable with 2 large beds with a nice bathroom as the showers were lovely!!. The bathroom layout had the drain on the wrong side of the shower so we would need to soak the ENTIRE floor to clean the sand from washing, no one cleaned our room so it was very sandy by the second day. ‘Westerners breakfast’ was 3 pieces of white bread 2 small sausages and a choice of eggs ( which they got wrong as we asked for omelet and received a scrambled egg due to miscommunication ??) also fruit which was nice :)

The location is fantastic—practically on the beach. I booked a single room, but it was very minimal, not very welcoming, and I found two cockroaches that evening when I arrived. I mentioned it to the manager, who kindly found me a different room the next day. Cleaning is definitely not the resort’s strong point.

The staff are very friendly and the location is top. The establishment has potential but is very old and offers little service. No shower gel is provided; bring your own shampoo and soap. The rooms are very dark and don’t really have a sea view. The value for money is average for the presentation, but the staff’s friendliness makes up for it.
