“The staff were lovely and the grounds were a joy to walk in. The room was clean and spacious.”
Breakfast was good, dinner was good, though some menu items became unavailable. The beach was very accessible with nice beachfrontage. Wifi wasn’t available in the rooms, and the venue was alcohol‑free.
“It was enjoyable but many things could be improved upon to make it a better destination to travel to”
It was peaceful and quiet, but the drive into the resort was third‑world.
“The real Fiji! A hidden paradise off the beaten track.”
The location was stunning, perched at the foot of a lush large tropical rainforest and overlooking a tranquil beach with white sand and calm swimming water. We had the beach to ourselves, though the weather was wet during our 5‑day stay. It was the perfect spot to shut off from the world—bring a good book and relax. Meals were very good and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We met some lovely like‑minded travellers. The weather wasn’t warm enough for us to swim, and the unmade muddy road into the resort was a bit hairy.
It was nice and remote with no kids around. The driveway is terrible; you need a 4WD! Wifi didn’t connect to all rooms and there was no TV in the rooms. The bathrooms/showers really need a major update. I had a buffet dinner on the first night, but it was far too expensive for what was served; I wouldn’t recommend it, just buy off the menu.
“Wonderful lace yo unwind for a few days. Pretty remote but plenty of books and puzzles available. We needed them as it”
The staff were wonderful, the pool area was beautiful, food was great, the samosas were divine and the theologian fish curry was amazing. The outdoor area of the pool villas could use a little TLC.
