The modern facilities were nice and the staff were friendly, yet it was almost impossible to find a ride because nobody seemed to know the hotel existed.

We had an unforgettable stay at Minnie’s; the room was spotless, the AC ran flawlessly, and the service was outstanding. Tristan cooked beautiful meals for us every day and was eager to help us and our friends who stayed elsewhere, also giving great travel tips. The team handled our laundry with ease and we’d return in a heartbeat. The only slight annoyance was the noisy cockerels next door, which are typical of Palawan; earplugs at night would solve it.

The place was clean and the chef was very friendly! Every day we received a personal, individual breakfast from him. The location is inconvenient; you need a scooter, but the owner even arranges one for you.

The hotel is fairly new—about three years old—and the rooms are well designed, especially the lighting in the room and bathroom. The staff are very friendly, and other guests say the breakfast and food overall are great. A water bottle refill dispenser saved me from buying plastic bottles, and parking my rental car in the courtyard was convenient. The A/C and Wi‑Fi worked well. The mattress and pillows were hard, and starting at 5 am a rooster in the yard behind the hotel crowed loudly; the windows offer little sound insulation, so I didn’t need an alarm clock. Better windows would have helped, but there’s nothing that can be done about it.
