B&b Spigolehouse

The biggest plus was that we could park inside the hotel complex. The downside was the breakfast, which was taken at one of the listed spots using a voucher that only allowed a drink and a pastry in the nearest restaurant. Otherwise everything was fine. The breakfast was too substantial!

“COLAZIONE AL BAR NON IN STRUTTURA”

The building is decorated in a contemporary, linear, and welcoming style, and we appreciated details such as umbrellas and a long shoe rack. The hotel is located on V.le Gelone, surrounded by 1960s buildings, like the entire building that houses the B&B. What I liked least was discovering that breakfast was not served on site but via a voucher to a partner bar, and it only included a coffee or cappuccino and a brioche, with no juice or other items.

The location is very convenient for visiting Siracusa. The welcome kit was missing, there was water in the corridor bottle, a soap bar in the bathroom, and the curtains were dirty.

We had a great stay at B&B Spigolehouse in Syracuse! Even though everything is managed remotely, the organization was seamless and flawless. The room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable, and the in‑room coffee machine was a huge plus. The location is within a reasonable walking distance to Ortigia, and having secure private parking in an enclosed courtyard is a massive advantage. The breakfast voucher system for three local spots is brilliant—we used ours at the restaurant right down the street (at No. 77) and really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

“Goed, maar niet geweldig”

The location was chill. The bathroom had a strong odor, and the bed was very hard.
