The hostel was exceptional—staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable, and the restaurant food was great. The design is solid and the location is prime, with the whole area quiet at night. It was a highlight of my trip to Nepal and offered great value, plus the gorgeous rescue cat on site was a big plus ❤️.

There’s no noise, so you can rest easy (at least during the monsoon season).

The community feels like family—friendly, peaceful, with helpful staff and a great restaurant, so I didn’t feel the need to leave and enjoyed it a lot. The only downside was the location.

The staff were very polite and friendly, and the proprietor Mr. Jason Shah went out of his way to suggest tour plans. Because my daughter was starting an artist’s residency with them, I stayed for 5 days in a private hostel room usually used by backpackers, and I wasn’t given any chance to complain.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. However, there’s no overhead light above the bed, making that area dark. The walls are thin, so you can hear a lot of noise. The biggest problem is the active construction site right across the street, working all day with a massive metallic clanging sound every 10 minutes, continuing all night until 3:00 AM, which made it impossible to sleep. If you’re sensitive to noise, I can’t recommend staying here until the construction finishes.
