The staff welcomed me warmly, the rooms were comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast were enjoyable; I liked everything.

The room was clean, the restaurant excellent, and parking was available at the hotel; the staff were friendly, the town was pleasant to stroll around, and there was plenty to see nearby.

The hotel sits right in the center of the charming little town of Saint‑Amand‑Montrond, on the main square. The comfort was spot‑on (air‑conditioning was a welcome relief on a day when it hit 39 °C outside), and the cleanliness was flawless. A parking space was available, and you could also park on the newly restored square. It’s the ideal stopover on the Atlantic or Manche route! We’ll come back.
