“Not informed in advance of all-night power outage”
When I checked in, the hotel casually told me that power would be out for the entire night from 10 pm to 6 am—no lights, no A/C, no TV, no charging, all night—at a supposedly 5‑star hotel. They claimed they had glow sticks, which is ridiculous. They knew about this for several days in advance (even though they blamed the utility) but never bothered to inform guests so we could plan otherwise. Instead they waited until I took an expensive Lyft to the property, when they could have easily let me know in advance. I cancelled my reservation and took another Lyft a mile up the road to the Hilton, which had no power issues. Unreal.
