The place is well situated, the staff greeted me warmly, and both the room and bathroom were spotless. However, it’s a B&B that doesn’t offer breakfast, and the sound insulation is awful—one can hear everything from neighboring rooms, other apartments, and even the courtyard, making it quite noisy.

The view of the sea through the large, functional balcony window was stunning, open day and night because of the view. The location is superb—just a ten‑minute walk to the centre and a one‑minute stroll to the city garden where I watched Etnia daily. I received coffee capsules every day, a variety of teas, and healthy bread delivered to my room, and when anything was missing, the corridor stocked plenty. The downside is that the road to the beach is a long scenic stretch, taking fifteen to twenty minutes for those who are fit, and for older guests the buses are fifty metres from the apartment but still require about fifteen minutes.

“Bella Toarmina B&B”

The place is very well located, just a short walk from Taormina’s old town and the main attractions, and very close to the bus station. The neighbourhood is relatively quiet. The room’s equipment is basic, but the room is cleaned daily, which is the bare minimum acceptable. On the downside, the room’s utensils—plates, spoons, knives—are minimal. Communication with the owner is only through a certain channel, and I couldn’t reach the provided number.
