“Simple und relaxing”

The facilities are simple but sufficient, and the staff are very friendly. The owner helped us in an emergency. The bungalows sit right on the sea, so you can snorkel beautifully just in front of the house, and there’s a dive shop next to the bungalow offering great dives. There were unpleasant smells in the bathroom, and you should know that there’s nothing to see on the island, especially on foot; we wandered around a bit but the island is full of trash.

“Cheap and cheerful new rooms on the water few bungalows on site too.”

The dive staff from Komodo were friendly when I checked in and had the room cleaned. The chef who prepares the tasty food is often present, and Lombok’s sunrise was beautiful. However, there was a strong odor coming from the bathroom, no curtain or door to close it off, the walls in the bathroom were rough, the basin was dirty and old even though it’s a new building, and the bedding was synthetic and cheap like local sheets. I checked out after a night and couldn’t swim at the front beach because there was always a little water.

We booked two nights, but the shower and toilet water had a sewage smell. The owner came to look at it, yet the issue wasn’t fixed, so we left before the second night.

“Highly recommend, we would happily stay here again”

We loved our stay here. The rooms were basic yet very clean and comfortable, and they overlooked the ocean, which was priceless—what more could you want? It was quiet and peaceful, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend; we were sad to leave. The boat can pick you up and drop you off right outside the property, which is nice. We organized a snorkeling trip from here.
