“Bonne étape”

The spa is great, recently renovated, with a beautiful pool and pleasant garden, but there aren’t many guests so the staff is attentive and understanding. The breakfast was disappointing; the coffee machine falls short of Italian standards, though the espresso is good. The front room has traffic noise even with the windows closed.

The building and the welcome were good. The food, however, was very different from previous years.

“Soggiorno tranquillo, ma piscina termale unica e piccola.”

The hotel sits in a central, very convenient spot in Abano. The thermal pool is tiny—there’s only one, and when it’s crowded you can’t relax. There’s just one jacuzzi, and with many guests it’s hard to use. The spa area is pretty nice. I had asked for two single beds, but the room was small and the beds were almost as close as a double. The bathroom was recently renovated and is quite spacious. The air‑conditioning was extremely loud, so we turned it off to sleep. Breakfast varied but wasn’t exceptional.

“3 giorni di puro relax”

I had stayed there before, and it’s always a pleasure to return to Hotel Principe. Everything was perfect.
