The room was brand‑new with a very comfortable bed, and the bathroom was freshly renovated and stylishly arranged—spotlessly clean with no mold. The owners keep horses on the property, and the stalls are right behind the yard. Breakfast felt very family‑style, served in the living‑room dining area on the ground floor; as first‑timers in France we weren’t familiar with the usual French breakfast options, but the coffee, sweet baguette, brioche, and homemade jam were delicious. Wi‑Fi didn’t work in the room at first, but when we asked, it was fixed immediately—thanks for the lovely time there. The entrance signage could be clearer; we struggled to locate the bell. We hesitated to walk onto the grounds because of the dogs, but they turned out to be very friendly.
