Sovn Boutique Hotel

The staff were very nice and helped us with everything during our stay: they arranged car rentals, restaurant reservations, and even breakfast in the room on the day we had to leave early. The breakfast itself was great. The location was amazing; we loved staying in Camps Bay.

“Excellent experience and we can't wait to come back”

The breakfast buffet every day was spectacular. A great selection of pastries, juices, fruit, granola and more. The coffee was excellent and they also have hot made-to-order items like eggs and pancakes. They even had freshly baked muffins and cakes. The amenities in the bathroom were great, the room was very spacious, huge! The balcony and the view were incredible. The location could not be beat. Staff was also available through WhatsApp and the helped us book tours and restaurants. Truly a great property and great service. We had many tours booked in advance, every day for over a week and sometimes there were changes to those tours that we discussed over chat. But i think only in one instance was there a misunderstanding about the tour schedule. Everything was really great overall but only in one instance looks like the winery tour was a bit confusing and we had to re-explain to the guide what we wanted. No big deal really. All of the tours were excellent and we had fantastic guides and drivers

We had a great stay overall—comfortable, well‑located, and everything we needed. After checking out, we accidentally left a package behind, and the team was incredibly helpful in arranging for it to be sent back to us safely. Their honesty and care were much appreciated. 10/10 for service and trust!

We had a truly pleasant stay and were especially impressed by how clean and well maintained the hotel was; everything felt fresh, comfortable, and thoughtfully cared for throughout our visit. The service was equally wonderful—the staff, especially Masi, were warm, attentive, and always ready to help whenever we needed anything. We also felt very safe and secure during our time at the hotel, which gave us great peace of mind and made the stay even more relaxing. We did experience a power outage one night in Camps Bay, which was a little inconvenient (the hotel does have a backup generator that lasted a couple of hours!). We also noticed a recent change in staff/chef, and unfortunately this meant that some breakfast items were unavailable during our stay; hopefully this is just a temporary transition as the new team settles in.
