“Beautiful hotel with very attentive staff”

The service was superb, the room was comfortable, well‑equipped, and the restaurant excellent. The only downside was that breakfast tables weren’t pre‑arranged; we had to search for cutlery.

The bike store was covered (locking required), and a short ride to Hook/Harwich ferry helped with EES delays at the port. The room was very good, with coffee and tea facilities, and breakfast was solid; there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The location right on the river was beautiful, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the box‑spring beds were very good and comfortable. The breakfast didn’t match the standard of other good hotels in the same price range; it was one‑dimensional and repetitive each day, and we were disappointed by both quantity and quality. Sometimes items weren’t refilled promptly—bread, rolls, fruit, and cold meats all ran out. We also noticed that we were charged a fee for using the hotel’s charging stations while the devices were plugged in.

“Voor herhaling vatbaar en dat gaat zeker gebeuren!”

The atmosphere in the hotel is fantastic—relaxed, with a lovely nautical vibe. The location is superb, offering a beautiful view. Breakfast was okay, but I expected it to be a bit more extensive.
