“Bien mais sans plus.”
The 22 euros per person promised a good breakfast, but it wasn’t. The fruit juices weren’t freshly squeezed, the dairy was left out of a fridge and exposed to flies, the hot dishes weren’t hot, the fruit salads came from a box, the jams were industrial, there was little homemade food, the towels were tiny, and there were few tea options. Compared to other places, the breakfast was mediocre. The common area was pleasant with a few board games available. The property accepts dogs, which is great, but you have to pay a high room rate—134 euros per night—and dogs aren’t allowed at that price, which is discriminatory and unfair. I had to find someone to keep my dog because I didn’t pay 250 euros for a night, almost cancelling. In the room, there was no wardrobe, the hooks were poorly fixed, the curtains were loose, and there were too many spider webs. Not all TV channels were available.
