The room was clean and spacious, but the sea view I booked was blocked by other rooms and the building.

Cher Resort is a peaceful retreat away from the busy part of Cha-am. My sea-view room was comfortable, clean, and perfect for relaxing while listening to the waves. I also enjoyed the restaurant, where the food, cocktails, and service were consistently excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcome throughout my stay. Some outdoor facilities are beginning to show their age and could benefit from maintenance. The beachfront daybeds and parts of the wooden flooring around the elevated seating area overlooking the beach would look much better with some repairs. Also, if you plan to walk to the nearby 7-Eleven (about 5 minutes away), I recommend avoiding Burirom 2/5 Alley. During my stay I encountered a pack of territorial dogs there. Instead, use the next alley opposite Platu Restaurant, which I found to be a much more comfortable route
