“A great place to stay with a good swimming pool”
This place feels like a little oasis in the middle of Babati’s wilderness. We planned to stay just one night, but the comfort was so good we extended to two. The hotel is spotless, especially the grounds, which are kept in excellent condition and feature freshly painted concrete safari animals that are made on site. The swimming pool was superb and impeccably clean, though it only has three sunbeds, which was fine since it was just my wife and me. We had the pool to ourselves all day because the hotel was almost empty. The swim‑up bar is well stocked with half a dozen underwater stools. Our room, Rhino 3, was clean and tidy with air conditioning and a fan, though we didn’t need them because the room was shaded. The bathroom had toiletries and a shower, but like many budget hotels it lacks a shower curtain, so the floor gets wet—an acceptable trade‑off for staying at this lovely hotel. The room is cleaned daily and the toiletries and bottled water are refilled. The restaurant is very good, but expect to wait about an hour after ordering because the food is freshly cooked. The all‑inclusive breakfast is decent, though the selection isn’t huge. Overall, we loved our stay and were sad to leave. Nothing was wrong with the property.
