“I appreciate the owner’s efforts to assist me. However, I would recommend considering the hiring of additional qualified”

When I first visited, things were fine, but a staff member let me leave some luggage behind. I went back to Ahmedabad and asked them to send the items by courier. They told me to wait, then the staff became rude and unprofessional. Later, I booked again and came back, only to learn there were no records of my previous stay, even though I had confirmed through the app and paid a 70% deposit. The owner was polite and tried to help, yet the overall management fell short. I want to point out that normally no advance is required, but here the staff demanded 70% to confirm. When I tried to resolve this, they said no reservation existed, despite showing all confirmation and a screenshot of the deposit. They couldn't help after hours of waiting, and I was told no other rooms were available and my payment wouldn't be refunded. The owner initially promised a refund, but the staff later denied it, all over a phone call. The receptionist, an elderly gentleman, seemed confused, and I don’t want to blame him. I urge everyone to be careful and avoid paying upfront here, as it may signal a scam. Be wary of anyone asking for advance payments; it could be a red flag. I also want to mention the person who didn’t answer my calls but sent voice notes. Please keep the 70% payment, and if more money is needed, feel free to contact me—I’m willing to help. This ordeal has ruined my mood and ruined what I wanted to enjoy on my trip. In the end, I had no options left, and it was extremely disappointing.

“Not worth the price”

The staff, especially Dinesh bhai, were friendly, but the place wasn’t worth the price. Paying between 1000 and 1200 all‑inclusive would have been more appropriate.

The place was comfortable and clean. It’s centrally located, close to the lake and market, and parking is available.

“Vreselijk”

We booked this place, but when we arrived the owner told us it wasn’t available. Even after showing proof, he still denied it, sent us to another accommodation claiming a fantastic view, but there was none and the room was far below the same standard—no fresh linens. He was very pushy about us taking that room and wouldn’t compromise. We left angry, and then he called to offer a lower price. The whole vibe was terrible. Luckily we found a room at Shaleen Elegance where we were warmly and correctly received, a real relief compared to this owner. Felt like a scam.
