The place was peaceful and calm, but the access was not ideal and the bathroom was very small.

“Très très bien”

The view from the big pool was magnificent, the house was tucked away in the mountains and very quiet, the décor was very unique with art everywhere, you have to see it to judge; there was a small fridge in the room, check‑in was self‑service, parking was available, breakfast was served at 9 h (there was a mix‑up in a message that said it would be at 8 h) but the lady kindly served us early because we had to leave before 9 h to catch the airport; she was extremely helpful even though she didn’t speak English, we used Google Translate to get by; there was no air‑conditioning but a ceiling fan did the job, and the bedding was decent. The downside is that it’s a hotel, so there’s no kitchen in the rooms, the nearest restaurant is 15 min away, and the shower cabin is small.

I liked the layout, the quiet, the cleanliness, the security, and the game room; there was nothing I didn't like, the only issue was that my partner was too tall to fit in the shower cabin, but we were able to look at another room with a slightly larger shower for a future stay.

“Fabulous location in the heart of the mountains, fabulous pool, quiet and super friendly.”

If you love mountains and nature, the location is great and the infinity pool is superb, but like many older Portuguese properties it has a very musty smell and the toilet was a bit smelly too.

“Kunst und Staunen in den Bergen”

The rooms were incredibly lovingly and artistically furnished, we felt very comfortable right away, but there were a lot of emails beforehand.
