The place sits beautifully right in the park and within walking distance of the old town; the reception was friendly and offered great tips for visiting Ferrara. The bed was comfortable and the décor very charming. Breakfast was lovely, with tasty cakes, fresh fruit, eggs on request, and we could enjoy it on the terrace.

The hotel is a bit outside Ferrara, which makes it very quiet, and the old town is only a 15‑minute walk away. It feels a little dated; a refresh in some areas would really help.

The accommodation was fantastic—super comfortable, spacious, and clean, with a very attentive host. Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, very scant and lacking options; I found it odd to be in Italy and see processed cheese (American‑style) on the breakfast table, something I hadn't encountered in other parts of the country.

A genuinely lovely old house with a modern touch, and the location is great—just a 20‑minute walk to the center. The room looked nice, but we noticed mold on the wall under the bed; a shame.
