The lady in charge was super helpful. She made everything smooth and made us feel welcome right away.

The place is far from noise, you only hear the sea when you’re sleeping. There’s a pool, a barbecue area, and the owners are a total sweetheart. Close to the beaches, the city center is a bit out of the way but you can hop on a bus or rent a motorcycle from the corner. We loved the rooms – they even have a kitchen. Nearby, there are local restaurants that serve great food.

Location is solid – close to San Luis and Cocoplum beach, and the air‑con works. But the check‑in was a nightmare. They told us we couldn’t use the kitchen because we booked the wrong room, tried to force us to cancel online and we’d get a fee. After an hour of confusion, they finally let us into a room that had a kitchen. The hostel is attached to a house, the old lady who handles check‑in is probably the mom, and the daughter who talks to us doesn’t live there.
