“Lastimável”

There was no shower stall in the bathroom, the promised breakfast was missing even though we were told it could be paid for and we were ready to pay; they never answered when we asked, just said it’s usually available but that day it wasn’t. We felt cold because the blanket was insufficient, and when we asked for more they said none were available. The room smelled of sewage, had mold on the ceiling near the air conditioner, no face towels, and only a single roll of toilet paper for three days for three people. Absolutely ridiculous.

“Péssima”

The location is great for anyone heading to the Anhembi pavilion, but the stay was dreadful. I booked for a colleague on a work trip and she reported several shocking issues: the room smelled of cigarette smoke; there was no toilet paper or face towel; the front desk gave her half a roll of toilet paper; she was repeatedly knocked on the door at night, shouted at, and pounded, leaving her frightened. A woman on the other side of the door kept saying “oi” nonstop and hit harder each time; when my colleague replied, the person said a guest from room 18 had brought her a present because he was interested in her. How is that normal? She only told me after returning; if she had known, she would have called the police that day and filed a complaint. She also asked the front desk the next day and they claimed no one else was staying. This is the kind of security they want to present to guests? It’s not what the photos show—a mix of a cage and a motel, I don’t recommend it.
