I appreciated the building’s history and the location, and the staff were friendly. However, our room was on the fourth floor, the carpet near the top of the staircase smelled like cat urine, which was disgusting. The toilet in room #426 seemed too low, as if it were for a child, and the window was cracked. The snacks offered at happy hour were minimal, and I expected the hotel to have a restaurant.

The hotel could use some updates, but the location is great. The cocktail hour isn’t what it used to be in terms of food, though I love the breakfast.
