The room was nothing like the pictures – no air‑conditioner, just a loud fan. When we opened the door we saw mold on the walls and ceiling, and the whole place was filthy. My wife and I couldn't sleep at all.

The staff were quick to respond on WhatsApp, which was a relief. But the room was a mess: water dripped from a lamp, the bathroom was filthy, and the cleaning seemed skipped. At night, people kept banging on my door, and the hallways were sticky with bugs.

The location was great, AC worked, Wi‑Fi was fine, and the room itself was clean. The bathroom, however, was a nightmare – the door was low, almost hitting your head; the flush was broken and someone had patched it with a pipe; the sliding door in the shower was jammed and could hurt you. Plus the floor level was the same or lower than the street, so it flooded when it rained. A fridge would have helped.
