Hurricane Hostel

Great location, good staff, lot of boardgames, happy hour. The showers had only curtain and no door, this resulted in people locking the main door and hence occupying 2 showers at once. Was slightly inconvenient in the morning

The Hurricane Hostel has 3 dorms, so not too many people stay. That’s good because it means it isn’t super crowded and it also creates a cozy vibe and a sense of connection with everyone there. The hostel met exactly the expectations I had, the staff is super friendly and I had an excellent stay. The only point that could perhaps be improved is the showers. There were only 3, so you might have to wait a bit. However, I didn’t have any trouble when I wanted to shower

Amazing location, just outside the old town walls. Good coffee, comfortable beds and great, helpful and kind staff. The water pressure in the shower was too low

Everyone was very friendly, happy hour drinks. If you are travelling alone and want to make some friends this is the place to do so. Weather was very warm so they had the air con going very high, this would have been fine if extra blankets were provided. However, I was only given a sheet, so first night was freezing. Make sure to ask for second blanket if staying in summer, just in case

The staff were very welcoming, the receptionist was friendly and helpful, the place was respectful, and the room was very nice.
