We had an exceptional stay in Niseko! The apartment was comfortable, well-equipped, and located in a lovely house. The spot was perfect, with a nearby shuttle that made it easy to reach the base of the slopes—really handy! What made the experience unforgettable was the host, an exceptionally kind person. He even accompanied us to the onsen and handled dropping off our skis in town, a service beyond our expectations. This is the first time we’ve met such a thoughtful host! A huge thank you again for this experience. We recommend this place at 1000 % without hesitation!

“Friendly, simple and traditional Japanese accommodation”

The owner speaks English, is very nice and helpful, and the Japanese stay is good value. A bus stop nearby lets you reach the ski areas easily.

“Convenient location and friendly host”

Satoh is very friendly and we appreciated the lifts to the bus stop. The location is convenient and the room is large.

The location is good (we had a car). It’s a 5‑minute drive to grocery stores (Maxx Value) and local Japanese fast‑food spots, and less than 5 minutes to Niseko (Grand Hirafu). The host is helpful with local advice and directions. Our Triple room had a private bathroom, shower, and a mini‑fridge, plus plenty of space to air out sweaty clothes after a long day of powder riding. However, our room had dust and lint floating around. A microwave is available for reheating meals, and the kitchen can be used when the host is around, though it felt more like the host’s personal space.

The place was quiet, the room was spacious, the bathroom was in the room, and the owner was very friendly. Nothing else.
