The host was friendly and informative, helping us with the train to Ella, and the breakfast was great with free tea and coffee.

It was a warm place where a cute dog greeted us; there was a kitchen area, free tea and coffee, Wi‑Fi, and a semi‑automatic washing machine—everything was excellent. The hot water comes out boiling, which is perfect for relaxing.

A Taiwanese woman married into Sri Lanka and runs this place with her husband; cleanliness is first‑rate, and they are eager to answer questions and keep the rooms spotless with a pleasant scent and warmth. The bathroom is very clean, so I highly recommend it. It’s about a 10‑15 minute walk from the city center, which I think isn’t far at all, just a short distance.

The lobby offers loose tea for self‑brewing, and the owner couple is very friendly, also arranging tours to waterfalls and tea factories and providing cheap tuk‑tuk rides. The room has a warm cotton quilt. The hot water takes a bit longer to arrive.
