The location and roomy layout were good. However, the staff on the morning of 4/2 were completely unsuitable for hospitality, lacking both friendliness and service.

I had a great stay here, the facilities are right in the village centre and my room was super peaceful. The food was excellent and the staff were really helpful when I needed to book a taxi to the airport early. One thing that was a bit tricky was finding the place - the entrance sign was small and all in Japanese, so I almost missed it.

This place was amazingly located and had tons of space - I loved the big sleeping areas, bath, and living room. The food was incredible, both morning and night. My only gripe was the futons, which weren't very comfy.

I wasn't expecting the private onsen to be so great. The location is pretty convenient, too - it's about a 7-minute walk to Lake Kinrinko and right off the main road. Some people said the food was bad, but we thought it was fine. Dinner was a fusion course and breakfast was Japanese-style. One thing to note is that Google Maps takes you down a back alley, so make sure to approach from the main road.

“由布院散策にピッタリの温泉宿”

I loved staying here - it's super quiet and chill, even though it's right near the lively Yunotsu-michi street. The hot spring was perfect, not too hot or cold, just right for me. I also appreciated the flexible parking arrangement, I forgot to ask about it beforehand but they were cool with it when I called after arriving. My only minor complaint is that the air conditioning in my room was kinda loud, kept me up a bit at night.
