The property was clean and well taken care of, and the owner was very accessible. The location was very good and easy to find, but the bathroom water didn’t drain properly and we had to unclog it twice.

The spot’s great – the train station is a 15‑minute walk and the historic centre is just around the corner, and the apartment was spotless with a very helpful host. The soundproofing could be better, but it wasn’t unbearable, and there were plenty of utensils for cooking, though a more convenient induction cooktop would have helped.

The modern design of the place was a plus, and the bed was comfortable. It smelled damp, had only one window with a broken screen, and lacked basic cleaning tools like a broom, which became obvious if you stayed for several days. The hair dryer was defective; I told the owner multiple times that he’d replace it, and he even said he’d sent someone, but nobody ever came and the dryer never changed. We spent more than half our stay waiting for the owner: on the third day he asked us to pay the municipal fee but said it wasn’t urgent, two days later he got nervous because we hadn’t paid yet, on the last day he demanded our IDs, one day he was fine with a transfer, the next he wanted cash left on the table before we left… When we asked about extending check‑out, he ignored us until the last day, by which time we had to find other accommodation.

The ambience was brand new and well‑kept, making it easy to get around. The host was super helpful with every question and let us check out late, leaving the apartment to us all day.

The flat is very central and modernly furnished, and communication with the landlord was excellent. It only has one small window and the shutters can’t be opened; a fly screen sits in front, so it never gets bright enough without a lamp. The window can’t be fully darkened, so you wake up to sunrise. The place wasn’t cleaned thoroughly – hair was found in the sink, on the tiled walls, in the wardrobe and shower. After I pointed it out, a cleaner came again and at least removed the hair from the shower head. Anyone who wants to cook in the kitchen will need to bring a lot of their own stuff – there were no sharp knives or fruit knives, but everything else for breakfast was available. It’s very noisy; you hear every passer‑by’s word, though that’s normal for accommodations in the old town.
