The staff were kind, the location was calm despite being close to the restaurant and the road, and the pool was nearby. But we needed a secure place to leave our belongings for late departures after check‑out; we had to stash our bags in a corner of the bar where everyone could see them.

The location was great and the rooms were clean and basic. The air‑con was super cold and the bed was comfy. The pool area had no lighting in the evenings, so we couldn’t sit around the pool because it was completely dark; a few festoon lights would have helped.

The spot in Jungut Batu is spot on, and the room was spotless with decent AC. I loved the garden area around the pool. The downside was that my room was right by the main street, so it got a bit noisy, and I wish they offered a breakfast option.
