The building is modern, very close to the mall, and everything is very clean. The owner is very kind and friendly, and they prepared delicious breakfasts for us. Very hospitable.

“Maravilloso, inspirador, entrañable”

The breakfasts were fantastic, varied, and plentiful, accompanied by the wonderfully pleasant Patricia and her husband. We had very enjoyable and interesting conversations. The place is brand new, with a very modern design, and the location could not be more ideal, as we were within walking distance of the beach. It was incredible to see sunsets from those beaches and to swim in cool water in August (used to the Mediterranean). I will definitely stay at Solemar again when I have the chance to visit beautiful Porto again. Nothing else. The only thing to keep in mind is that getting there almost inevitably requires a car, or spending a fortune on taxis.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, very quiet and peaceful, and just a short walk from the sea. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful – genuinely lovely people who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. Highly recommended! The only small suggestion would be to add a little more variety to the breakfast. Everything was fresh and nice, but when staying for 5–6 days, having the same selection every morning can become a little repetitive. This is only a minor suggestion and certainly didn’t affect how much we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent accommodation, great location, lovely people. That's how you would sum up Solemar.

“Hospital”

The staff were helpful, but the value was terrible and the bed felt like a hospital.
