The room was very nice, the bed comfortable, and breakfast was continental. Our host was very helpful, giving us directions to the places we wanted to visit. It was a perfect spot for experiencing the historic part of Palermo and we enjoyed the lively atmosphere below us. Shops and outdoor markets were around, but it wasn’t noisy. We had a rental car and received good instructions for finding the parking garage, and it was about 5 to 10 minutes walk to the hotel. We would recommend it and would definitely stay again. There was a flight of stairs to our room, which might be an issue for some guests, but it wasn’t for us.
