The front view of the hotel gave me a sense of historic charm. When I checked in at the reception on the third floor, the staff seemed focused and organized. I found the room not cramped, and the layout was quite comfortable. There were clear instructions in Japanese and for inbound guests posted in the bathtub, which made me feel at ease and actually taught me something. I did have trouble finding a hair dryer.
